This benign-looking polyp arising from right arytenoid turned out to be a rhabdomyosarcoma
In suspension microlaryngoscopy, a rigid videolaryngoscope is introduced into the pharynx and suspended. Surgery is performed using the the operating microscope which magnifies the image and delivers the laser beam. Also, notice the video monitor that allows the surgeon and the anesthesiologist to visualize the larynx. In this picture, there is no endotracheal tube; anesthesia is delivered by Venturi Jet technique.
