Painless, slowly growing, soft submandibular mass measuring about 8 x 6 cm.
The mass is well defined and can be easily moved on palpation.
The marginal mandibular branch of the right facial nerve was identified and a well encapsulated lipoma was dissected away from the submandibular gland and the surrounding structures.

The ground lead of the facial nerve monitor is seen below the retractors.
Picture of the removed lipoma, measuring 8 x 6 cm.
