Hyperkeratosis of the Larynx

This recurrent right vocal cord lesion in a 58 year-old smoker has caused severe distortion of the normal appearance of the cord. Surprisingly, this lesion did not show malignant changes on histopathology; it only exhibited severe dysplasia and hyperkeratosis.
