Frontal Bone Cyst
This page was last updated on: October 31, 2009

This child presented with a
slowly growing, cystic, round 3 cm-mass of the forehead, just behind the hair line.

The coronal CT scan shows an indentation of the frontal bone, corresponding to the location of the cyst.

The indentation is also evident in the 3-D CT reconstruction on the right
The cyst is more obvious after shaving the scalp.  At surgery, a benign pear shaped epidermal inclusion cyst was removed.
